Walking with the God who knows us

Foundations destroyed?

What happens when I know that I cannot trust those wanting my support?

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers.  For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common?

2 Corinthians 6v14

When wickedness is taking over it is hard to align with anyone. I might vote for the least bad option, but I cannot allow my heart to be aligned with wickedness.

Above all else guard the heart for it is the wellspring of life.

Proverbs 4v23

There comes a point when it ceases to be an issue of being involved to find a good way forward and more an issue of walking with God.

What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?  For we are the temple of the living God.

2 Corinthians 6v16

When all the ways and personalities presented are idolatrous, there is going to be abuse whichever way is chosen.

“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters,  says the Lord Almighty.”

2 Corinthians 6v18

What does it mean that God is our refuge and strength? I was praying about an issue that was coming up in parliament and now, to my relief, I hear that the minister is ordering a significant review. Maybe prayer is a better way of engaging.
